UNDERSTANDING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS
Video Production is a dynamic process that involves a range of stages, from pre-production planning to principle photography and post-production editing.
PREPRODUCTION
Video pre-production is the planning and preparation phase that takes place before the actual filming of a video. This phase is critical to the success of any video project as it sets the foundation for the entire production process. Pre-Production is the time to brainstorm ideas, develop a script, create storyboards, scout locations, and schedule the shoot. The goal is to create a clear and comprehensive plan that will guide the production team throughout the filming process and ensure that the final product meets the vision and objectives of the project. Good pre-production helps result in a video that effectively communicates the desired message to the intended audience.

This is also the time in which is used to prepare for Commercial Drone Operations.

PRINCIPLE PHOTOGRAPHY (THE FUN PART!)
Principle photography, also known as production or shooting, is the phase of video production where the filming takes place. This is where all the planning and preparation from preproduction comes to life, and the creative vision is brought to the screen. During principle photography, the crew work together to capture the scenes, using a combination of camera angles, lighting, sound, and performance to create the desired look and feel of the video. Once principle photography is complete, the footage will be edited and post-production work will begin to create the final product.

POST PRODUCTION
Post-production is the final phase, where the footage captured during principle photography is edited, enhanced, and polished to create the final product. This phase involves a range of tasks, including video editing, color grading, sound mixing, special effects, and music composition. The goal of post-production is to create a cohesive and visually stunning final product that effectively communicates the message and achieves the intended goals of the video. Post-production is an essential stage for creating a polished and professional-looking video.
